WOODBURY - Thousands of North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital employees have been taking part in a program where they walk to Paris.

The program, called Walk to Paris Fitness Competition, has the employees walk the approximately 7.2 million steps between New York and Paris to improve fitness.

The employees wore pedometers to record the number of steps they took since February.

For a few lucky employees, their steps earned them a real trip to Paris.
