Muslim Advocates, a civil rights group, is filing a lawsuit against New York City for the police department's actions. The group's suit seeks to have the surveillance declared unconstitutional and all the records destroyed. It also asks for an order prohibiting the NYPD from coming into New Jersey to spy on Muslims. Meanwhile, Khan says there are no planned lawsuits on Long Island, but he supports what those in New Jersey are doing.
