WOODBURY - Teachers at two Glen Cove elementary schools are being accused of helping fifth-graders on state exams.

According to an exclusive Newsday report, a district probe found that teachers at the Connelly and Landing elementary schools gave students the correct answers by darkening answer forms for them or by urging them to change their answers.

The probe found more than 80 percent of students "indicated they received inappropriate staff-directed assistance" on the ELA, math tests or both.
