WOODBURY - The 112th session of Congress was called into order this afternoon, with new members of Congress taking their seats in Washington.

Newly elected members of the Senate were sworn into office and power of the House was handed over to the GOP. The new, more conservative members say they were elected to make big changes.

The new House speaker, Rep. John Boehner (R-Ohio), plans to lead Republicans in a vote next week to repeal last year's health care overhaul. They are also vowing to fight Democrats on overspending and taxes.

The Senate is still controlled by Democrats, who say they will be fighting back to maintain the health care legislation.
