WOODBURY - A new proposed bill would make cyber-bullying a crime. The bill would making online bullying of anyone under age 21 a misdemeanor stalking. In addition, those responsible for a suicide due to cyber-bullying would get a second-degree manslaughter charge. The charge would be punishable of up to 15 years behind bars.

The National Crime Prevention Council says nearly half of all teens in the United States have been victims of cyber-bullying.
