WOODBURY - ? According to Newsday, Nassau County must pay out $115 million in extra labor costs next year.
The payouts include salary raises, pensions and increases in health insurance.
State watchdog NIFA could freeze the wage hikes, but can not stop salary increases deferred back in 2009.
Nassau?s fiscal problems have already forced 128 workers to be laid off this year.
