WOODBURY - Nassau County officials recently debuted a new program that aims to provide a warm place to sleep for the county's homeless.

Dubbed Operation Warm Bed, the program reaches out to people with no where to go during storms. Workers with the initiative can be reached at 1-866-WARM-BED.

Meanwhile, during Sunday's blizzard, Suffolk County teamed up with the Red Cross to set up an emergency shelter in Holbrook. It was located at the Seneca Middle School on Main Street, off of exit 61 on the Long Island Expressway.
