BETHPAGE - The cold temperatures are shifting the concerns from heavy snow to slippery roads for the afternoon and evening commutes.

News 12 Long Island was in Bethpage at the Nassau County’s Office of Emergency Management, where more than 100 people have been tracking the storm for more than 24 hours.

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano says snow plowing and emergency operations have been monitored since last night.

Officials are urging drivers to use caution with the plummeting temperatures.
