WOODBURY - Nassau District Attorney Kathleen Rice will not pursue criminal charges in the July 4 boat accident that killed three children in Cold Spring Harbor.

Officials say 27 people, including at least 10 children, were aboard a 34-foot Silverton cruiser when it capsized on the way back from a fireworks display.

Authorities say 12-year-old David Aureliano, 11-year-old Harley Treanor and 7-year-old Victoria Gaines were trapped in the cabin and died.
