KINGS POINT - A Nassau community is coming together to stop a recent string of home invasions.

Great Neck and Kings Point residents will meet police tonight about at least five recent home invasions that happened in the area.

Cops say a man is getting into homes through unlocked doors or windows and confronting girls and elderly women.

Since the break-ins started, police have increased patrols.
