WOODBURY - Officials say Long Island Rail Road trains will not be going into Grand Central Terminal until at least 2019.

The MTA says the delay for the East Side Access project is because of a construction problem at a rail yard in Queens.

The MTA had hoped to finish the job by 2015.

Meanwhile, the long-delayed expansion of Penn Station is finally back on track. The Port Authority says the first phase of the billion-dollar project will start sometime this year and be finished in 2016.

The concourse at the west end of the LIRR track will be expanded across the street under the Farley Post Office.
