WOODBURY - Officials are warning customers that in two days it will cost more to ride trains, buses and pay tolls at some bridges and tunnels.

New MTA fare hikes go into effect on Friday.

LIRR fares are going up an average of 8 percent to 9 percent depending on the ticket.

Meanwhile, the cost of a single ride MetroCard is going up 25 cents to $2.75.
