FIRE ISLAND - The Suffolk County Health Department has announced that it will be spraying against mosquitoes on Fire Island tonight.Crews will be using the pesticide Anvil to target mosquitoes that could carry the West Nile virus. The spraying will take place in Fire Island Pines, Water Island, Atlantique and Summer Club, weather permitting. The mosquito spraying will go on from 6:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m. tonight.
