BETHPAGE - Hundreds of out-of-state utility crews are arriving in Bethpage State Park, where National Grid has set up a staging area.

National Grid says it is taking over storm duties from LIPA, which is a major shift in responsibility to get service restored since Sandy.

The Moreland Commission recommended the switch and made the decision.
