BETHPAGE - Hundreds of out-of-state utility crews are arriving in Bethpage State Park, where National Grid has set up a staging area.

National Grid says it is taking over storm duties from LIPA, which is a major shift in responsibility to get service restored since Sandy.

The Moreland Commission recommended the switch and made the decision.

The commission was set up by Gov. Cuomo after Sandy to evaluate LIPA's weak response to the hurricane.
