CORAM - Winter storms cost Long Island towns a bundle, and residents may have to pay more if their town goes over its snow budget.

The blizzard the day after Christmas was an expensive one. Now that more snow is on the way, Brookhaven officials say it could cost them more than a couple million dollars -- their snow budget is $3.2 million.

Town officials say every dollar spent over the budget must be borrowed and residents will see it on their tax bills.
