Monster Jam's 'Thrasher' performs at Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology in Riverhead

After their show this Saturday at MetLife Stadium, "Thrasher" will head to Foxboro, Mass. (6/11/14)

RIVERHEAD - Monster Jam's "Thrasher" show visited students at the Eastern Long Island Academy of Applied Technology in Riverhead Wednesday as part of a lesson on auto body repair and design.

Each monster truck weighs about 10,000 pounds, and the tires alone cost $2,500 each. Monster Jam driver Pat Summa says he loves seeing the kids' reactions and watching everyone enjoy the show together.

After their show this Saturday at MetLife Stadium, "Thrasher" will head to Foxboro, Mass.
