Joseph D'Auria took off from a Long Island drug rehab center Friday.

BRENTWOOD - The teen son of a local radio reporter who was reported missing has been found safe.

Joseph D'Auria, 16, was with a friend.

Officials had said that D'Auria took off from a Long Island drug rehab center Friday.

D'Auria is the son of 1010 Wins reporter Carol D'Auria. She had sent a tweet saying he suffers from depression, suicidal thoughts and needs his medication.

A missing persons report had been filed in Suffolk County.
