MINEOLA - Police say a Mineola man accused of beating up his girlfriend is also accused of following her right up to the police precinct.
Police say James Coraci shoved, slapped and hit his girlfriend with a tree branch on Jericho Turnpike in Mineola.
The 18-year-old woman walked to the third precinct during the argument on Saturday.
Cops say Coraci followed her while allegedly pulling her hair.
Coraci is now charged with assault and resisting arrest.
