JONES BEACH - Millions of dollars worth of renovations are set to start this summer at Jones Beach.

Some of the renovations include new East Bathhouse bathrooms, a new West Bathhouse catering hall and outdoor fountains that had been closed for decades.

The catering facility will be where the old ice cream parlor was, according to Newsday.

In fact all of the state parks are getting renovations - including new bathrooms and showers at Hither Hills and Wildwood.

Next summer, Jones Beach could get a 2,000-square-foot spray park, a "rope obstacle course," zip lines and a new food court.
