SMITHTOWN - Mick Foley will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this weekend.

The Smithtown resident's wrestling career began in the 80s at Ward Melville High School. He says he was a good wrestler then, but not good enough to get on the wall.

Foley didn't learn to be a hardcore legend at Ward Melville, but he did learn a valuable life lesson that helped shape his wrestling career after he lost his match his senior year.

"Had I not lost that match, I don't know if I would've felt like I could take on the world," Foley says.
