LEVITTOWN - A Levittown teen with autism went to prom Friday with the classmate who enlisted the New York Jets to aid in her proposal.

Sarah Kardonsky asked longtime friend Michael Pagano to the Division Avenue High School senior prom after she initially rejected his invitation because she'd already had a date.

She says she changed her mind and was able to recruit nine players on Pagano's favorite football team to film her "promposal." 

Inspired by Kardonsky, local businesses donated Pagano's Jets-themed tuxedo and limo ride.

After the story went viral, a man in California offered to buy Sarah's prom dress. When she told him she already had one, the man donated $1,000 to buy a disabled child an adaptive bicycle in Kardonsky and Pagano's names.
