FLUSHING - The Mets were back at work Friday, two days after locking up their first trip to the World Series in 15 years.

Players took the field for a voluntary workout. The celebrating stopped and reality sank in.

“It’s been incredible - the whole ride,” says manager Terry Collins.

Game 1 of the World Series is Tuesday night.
