WOODBURY - A final farewell was given for the Hofstra University graduate killed by a lion in South Africa.

The memorial service for Katherine Chappell was be held Saturday in Rye, Westchester County.

The 29-year-old Emmy award-winning video editor was mauled to death by a lioness Monday while at a wildlife park near Johannesburg, South Africa.

Chappell was taking pictures through an open car window when the animal attacked.
