MELVILLE - Campers at the Crestwood Country Day Camp in Melville got a special treat today when a vertical wind tunnel was brought in for them to float around in.
Matthew Phatty Stewart, who travels around with the wind tunnel, say it is the only one in the country that is powered by a World War II, DC-3 engine. He says this was the first time a wind tunnel of this kind has been brought to Long Island.
Stewart spent the day instructing campers before they took flight.
Campers also got to enjoy a foam party and took a splash in the giant water slide.
