HEMPSTEAD - A Hempstead man accused of making bomb threats pleaded not guilty in court today.

Police say 25-year-old Melbis Hernandez called 911 twice yesterday, threatening that a bomb would go off at First District Court.

The building was evacuated and nothing dangerous was found.

Hernandez was arraigned today on two counts of falsely reporting an incident.
