CENTRAL ISLIP - A Long Island couple has been arrested in connection to a string of robberies in Suffolk that spanned nearly a month.

Christopher Marino, 29, and 23-year-old Jamie Greco, both of Medford, allegedly went on the robbery spree between Dec. 9 and Jan. 7. All of the crimes occurred between 6 p.m. and midnight.

According to prosecutors, the pair used the money they stole to buy drugs.

Police say the couple robbed or attempted to rob 15 fast food restaurants and gas stations.

Grecco's attorney says there is no proof she was involved.

Both suspects are due back in court tomorrow.
