WOODBURY - Meat-processing company Cargill is recalling 36 million pounds of ground-up turkey after a nationwide salmonella outbreak. The meat has been linked to the outbreak, in which one person has died and at least 76 others have become ill. The recall covers all fresh and frozen ground turkey products produced at the company's Springdale, Ark. plant from Feb. 20 through Aug. 2. New York is one of the states where the ground turkey is sold.Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
