Meadowbrook Pkwy. crash victims remembered on 1-year anniversary

FLORAL PARK - Family and friends of the three camp counselors from Floral Park who were killed in a crash on the Meadowbrook State Parkway are honoring their loved ones on the one-year anniversary of their death. On the morning of July 15, 2010, five lifelong friends were on their way to work at Camp Anchor in Lido Beach when they crashed into a tree. Michael Mulhall, 22, and sisters 22-year-old Jaime and 19-year-old Paige Malone were killed. The driver of the car that day was Mulhall's sister Justine. Her father, Neil Mulhall, says since the accident, his daughter has shown tremendous courage in the face of tragedy. Police say Justine Mulhall was not at fault in the accident, and the victims' parents say there was a possibility that someone had cut her off.Tomorrow, both families and Paige Malone's boyfriend will hold a basketball tournament at St. John's University in Queens to raise money for two foundations that have been set up in the victims' memory. >Funeral held for third victim of Meadowbrook crash
