UNIONDALE - It's marathon weekend on Long Island.

Athletes from all over the world will run 26.2 miles from Charles Lindbergh Boulevard in Uniondale to Eisenhower Park in East Meadow on Sunday.

The 5K and 1-mile races were held Saturday morning ahead of Sunday's marathon, half-marathon and 10K.

For those who are not participating or are watching the race, be aware that there are several road closures throughout the race routes in Uniondale and East Meadow.
