Many Long Island towns still held their annual Fourth of July parades Friday morning despite the rainy weather.

Port Jefferson hosted its annual Fourth of July parade, which started near North Country Road and headed down Main Street before ending at Barnum Avenue.

Massapequa held its Independence Day parade at 11 a.m. The parade started on Walker Street and finished on Park Boulevard.
