Mangano grants amnesty for school speed zone tickets


The county previously acknowledged that more than 200 tickets were issued by mistake.

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano has announced that the county is granting amnesty for all camera-issued school speed zone tickets issued so far in Nassau.

Anyone who has received a ticket no longer has to pay the $80. People who have already paid will be refunded, according to Mangano.
