WOODBURY - Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano has confirmed the county's first fatality.

Mangano says the death was in Roslyn and due to a falling tree.Gov. Cuomo's office says the storm has killed at least five people around the state. Additionally, at least two more deaths have been reported in New Jersey. Mangano says residents should stay inside and off the roads, which are covered with fallen trees and downed wires. He also urges residents to call non-emergency numbers for issues like downed trees and lost power.
