Man wanted for robbing elderly woman outside Rockville Centre home

Police say a man came up and ripped her purse off her shoulder. The woman was not injured.

ROCKVILLE CENTRE - Police are searching for the man who robbed a woman outside her Rockville Centre home.

According to police, the 77-year-old woman was sitting in her car in her driveway just after 11 p.m. Tuesday when she was attacked.

Police say a man came up and ripped her purse off her shoulder. The woman was not injured.

The man was seen fleeing in a white or silver car.
