WOODBURY - A man has surrendered to police following a hit-and-run snowmobile crash last month.

According to police, 40-year-old Louis Clark, of Nesconset, struck 14-year-old Ed Depalo while driving his snowmobile in Lake Grove. Depalo's knee cap was shattered in the accident.

Clark allegedly didn't know he had hit the teen until he saw a News 12 report.

Officials say Clark has been charged with criminal negligence and 3rd-degree assault.
