A Hauppauge man who killed his stepfather with a Samurai sword was sentenced to 25 years behind bars. Zachary Gibian pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges

HAUPPAUGE - A Hauppauge man who killed his stepfather with a Samurai sword was sentenced to 25 years behind bars. Zachary Gibian pleaded guilty to manslaughter charges earlier this month, just as jury selection in his second trial was about to get under way. Gibian nearly decapitated his stepfather, Scott Nager, with a sword while he was sleeping in 2005.
