SAYVILLE - The man accused in a fatal Sayville car chase on Monday pled not guilty in Suffolk County court today.

Officials say Cordell Tucker, 24, led Suffolk Sheriff's deputies on a chase after he allegedly stole from a store at the Tanger Outlet Center in Riverhead. They say the pursuit ended in Sayville when Tucker crashed into another car, killing a Holbrook woman.

Tucker, along with two friends, Rashawn Smith and Essence Smith, are all facing theft charges. They are due back in court on Friday.
