HUNTINGTON STATION - Investigators say a man was pistol whipped during a violent home invasion in Huntington Station.

The incident happened on West 11th Street in Huntington Station just before 9 p.m. last night.

According to police, a man in the house was repeatedly hit in the head with a gun. The robber got away with cash. A police helicopter was up overnight looking for the suspect. So far no arrests have been made. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.
