FARMINGDALE - A Farmingdale man is facing up to seven years in prison for a deadly hit-and-run on the Southern State Parkway.

Prosecutors say it took a jury just 90 minutes to convict Wilkens Thelusma, who hit and killed Rick Munoz near exit 20 of the parkway in 2015.

According to prosecutors, Munoz had just crashed a stolen box truck and was walking on the parkway when he was hit.

They say Thelusma took off, but police used debris left behind by his car to track him down.
