Officers went to a hone on Park Avenue near East Clinton Avenue in Roosevelt just before 7 p.m. last night.

A man was arrested for allegedly attacking his girlfriend with a kitchen knife last night in Roosevelt.

Police say Tremaine Ashley, 37, slashed his 34-year-old girlfriend in the neck before stabbing her in the chest at her house on Park Avenue. The woman was taken to the hospital, where she remains in critical but stable condition.
