NORTH BABYLON - ? Cops say they have made an arrest in a house raffle scam involving thousands of Long Island victims. Officials say 32-year-old Scott Cicerone, of North Babylon, is now charged with stealing more than $100,000.
Prosecutors say he sold raffle tickets at $50 a pop for a chance to win his million-dollar waterfront home in Massapequa when it went into foreclosure. In addition, officials say Cicerone used the raffle money for luxury vacations and car payments.
Cicerone faces four years behind bars if convicted. He has been released on $10,000 bail.
