BROOKLYN - The man accused of killing Detective Peter Figoski has said he is sorry and didn't mean to kill him, according to court papers released yesterday.

Detective Figoski, of West Babylon, was shot and killed while trying to stop an attempted robbery of a drug dealer on Dec. 12.

Lamont Pride, the accused shooter, appeared in a Brooklyn courtroom with the four other suspects yesterday for a hearing.
