KINGS PARK - A Kings Park man accused of beating his grandmother to death missed his arraignment today in Central Islip after his attorney said he couldn't be transported to the courthouse in time.

Clarence Newcomb, 25, allegedly killed his 82-year-old grandmother Friday night during a dispute over a television show. Police found the woman dead on the floor of their home on Berg Avenue.

Newcomb is scheduled to be arraigned Sunday morning.
