Man accused of impersonating ICE agent denies charges

CENTRAL ISLIP - The lawyer for a Port Jefferson man accused of impersonating a federal agent and falsely arresting a teen is denying the charges.Police say the incident started when David Bradley got into a road rage incident with a 19-year-old man on Woodhull Avenue on Sunday. Bradley allegedly used emergency lights in his SUV to pull over the teen, then flashed a badge and said he was an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent.Investigators say Bradley then handcuffed the teen, drove him to his Port Jefferson house and sat him down on a couch inside. They say he let the teen go after several minutes, telling him it was his "lucky day." Police say Bradley had also pretended to be a federal agent last month and attempted to gain access to a crime scene.Bradley's lawyer says his client is the CEO of an insurance company on Long Island and is a father of two. His wife of 12 years appeared with him in court today, but she declined to comment.Bradley is charged with unlawful imprisonment and felony criminal impersonation. The case is expected to go before a grand jury.
