According to police, Keith Bierman, of Syosset, first hit a car on the LIE near exit 41 in Jericho around 10:30 Tuesday night then took off (3/1/17)

JERICHO - Police say a man has been arrested for DWI after two cars were hit in Nassau , including a fire department vehicle. 

According to police, Keith Bierman, of Syosset, first hit a car on the LIE near exit 41 in Jericho around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and then took off.

Police say Bierman took off and then hit a Syosset Fire Department vehicle on Jericho Turnpike. 

Officers eventually tracked down the 53-year-old near Gordon Drive and charged him with DWI and leaving the scene.
