A Valley Stream man pleaded not guilty after being accused of causing the death of a dog by leaving it in a hot car for hours.

The Nassau District Attorney's Office says Ian Kassof left his mixed breed pit bull in a hot car for hours while he worked earlier this month on McCarthy Road in Island Park.
