BALDWIN - Family, friends and fellow officers bid a final farewell to a Nassau officer killed in the line of duty. Nassau Emergency Services Unit Officer Arthur Lopez was fatally shot Tuesday on the Nassau/Queens border. More than 10,000 police officers from 100 different departments were at the services to honor and remember the 29-year-old fallen hero. The youngest member of Nassau's elite ESU was gunned down Tuesday during a traffic stop.
