FREEPORT - After a wet Sunday, rain and winds are picking up into the evening and overnight on Long Island.
Long Islanders visiting Hurricane Harry's in Freeport say after Hurricane Irene last summer, they feel prepared for anything else, especially windy weather. Gusts are expected to reach up to 40 miles an hour.
Even though they had to endure a wet Sunday, Long Islanders say they aren't worried about the rain, as conditions have been dry for so long.
