WOODBURY - Long Island residents kept up with holiday traditions this Fourth of July. Many attended parades across the Island, including one of the biggest and oldest in Southampton. The Southampton parade began in 1920. Some Long Islanders headed into the city for the 36th annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks. This year's display started just after 9 p.m. on the Hudson River and included more than 40,000 Grucci fireworks. There was also performances by pop star Katy Perry and country music singer Kenny Chesney. Montauk's fireworks spectacular, however, has been postponed to tomorrow due to the threat of thundershowers. Traffic & Weather LIVE
