ROCKVILLE CENTRE - A Rockville Centre resident hoping to catch a foul ball at Yankee Stadium yesterday ended up with a lot more than she had bargained for.

Morgan Kelly, 11, says she had her arms up and was bracing for a catch as Curtis Granderson's foul ball headed right toward her during yesterday's New York Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox.

Kelly didn't catch the ball and was instead struck in the eye, suffering multiple facial fractures and a concussion.

Kelly, who underwent three brain surgeries at the age of four, will be OK and says she's glad it was her that got hit and not her older sister.
