Weather CenterWOODBURY - A high wind warning is in effect for Nassau and Suffolk counties through Thursday at 6 a.m.
News 12 Long Island Meterologist Bill Korbel says damaging wind gusts of up to 60 mph are possible tonight.
Cloudy skies are expected into tomorrow morning with showers, brief periods of heavy rain and a few thunderstorms. A total of 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected.
